Here are some construction pics for a custom “shallow” module.
 
Panel wiring and standoffs instead of a bracket.
Board mounted parallel to panel, all wiring underneath.

This is the module that a “Full Kit” would build.
Notice that the power header is backwards.
This keeps it standard for MOTM and DotCom.
